How do I install Apta News?
Click the "Add to Slack" button on our homepage. You'll be redirected to Slack to authorize the app for your workspace. Once approved, the app is ready to use.
How do I choose my news areas?
Open the Apta News app in Slack (find it in your Apps sidebar). On the Home tab, check the boxes next to the areas you want: Design, Dev, Marketing, or Ops. Your preferences are saved automatically.
How often are digests delivered?
Digests are delivered to your Slack DMs every weekday morning.
How do I unsubscribe from a topic?
Open the Apta News App Home in Slack and uncheck the areas you no longer want. Changes take effect immediately.
How do I uninstall the app?
A workspace admin can remove the app from Slack Settings > Manage Apps > Apta News > Remove. All stored data is deleted immediately upon uninstall.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Email privacy@apta.agency. You can also uninstall the app, which automatically deletes all data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
